DREAMS & HOPE

I am reviving an old family farmstead. My grandparents farmed this 50 acre, mostly forested, hilly plot of land from the mid 1940s until the l980s. My husband and I purchased the farmstead from my grandparents in 1979, but never really had the chance to to spend more than a week at a time here because of the demands of our careers. 

I have always longed for the opportunity to live full-time on this farm. There are very old apple and walnut trees waiting for care or removal; new fruit trees to plant; a large garden (consisting of seeds, and tiny seedlings) to plant and maintain. I have 3 speckled baby Barred Rock chicks on order, and due to be shipped to me on May 1st.

My dream is to transform this old place into a living, working farm.
